Looking ahead

I have not written on my blog for more than 5 months now and just wondering what I could do to bring myself to writing consistently. The truth is that things have changed so fast around me (family and career-wise) in the last 6 months that I'm just gradually putting things into perspective. I'm going to turn 30 in less than 2 weeks and the big question keeps popping up in my mind...so what am I really about? What will be my contribution to
this world? I believe at 30, you should have a very clear idea of where you're heading in life and if you're not 100% accurate of what it is, at least you're looking ahead and not behind...

Just looking at this ad from Accenture got my adrenalin running and gave me a new focus as I approach my 30th birthday and the years ahead - the lessons from this ad is that at my age, I should focus on whats ahead, what I'll do, what relationships I'll form, how I'll build my family, what contributions I'll make to society and not looking backwards at what should have been, what mistakes I've made or what great success I achieved. So the 90 / 10 rule is the first in many that will shape my paradigm as I look ahead into the future.

Wish me well!
